Border Controls Between Gibraltar and Spain to Be Abolished – 15,000 Daily Commuters to Benefit

Border controls between Gibraltar and Spain are set to be abolished, ending daily queues for around 15,000 Spanish workers who cross into the British Overseas Territory each day. As part of the deal, Gibraltar will be required to meet a number of EU requirements. The move has been described by some as long overdue.
