Missing 13-year-old Layla Jeffery found dead in Donald, Victoria

Layla Jeffery, a 13-year-old described as "somewhat shy" and "well-liked", disappeared in the early hours of 4 July and was later found dead in Donald, a small Victorian town around 280km from Melbourne. The community has been left grieving by her alleged murder. Residents had spent the week sharing police appeals for information about her whereabouts.
