Grigory Laguta wants to return to Polish speedway despite not condemning Russia's war

Russian speedway rider Grigory Laguta has been absent from Polish competition for five years and has not publicly condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Despite this, he has declared his wish to return to the Polish speedway league from next season. A decision on allowing Russian riders to compete could be made as early as September at a meeting of the world speedway federation's authorities.
