Poland builds €2.5bn Baltic port to shift regional power balance

Poland is investing 10 billion złoty (roughly 2.5 billion euros) in a new Baltic Sea port designed to shift the regional balance of power. The project is intended to strengthen Poland's position as a maritime and logistics hub in the Baltic region. The port is expected to serve both economic and strategic defence purposes.
