2.5 million sign petition to ban Argentina from the World Cup

An online petition calling for Argentina's exclusion from the 2026 World Cup has gathered 2.5 million signatures. Its authors claim that Lionel Messi and his teammates receive preferential treatment from referees throughout the tournament. FIFA has so far made no response to the initiative.
