Gen. Polko: Polish soldiers should be in Ukraine to learn from the front line

General Roman Polko, former commander of Poland's special forces unit GROM, told Onet that a Polish military presence in Ukraine is necessary to gain frontline experience that could strengthen Poland's own defence capabilities. He criticised politicians who categorically rule out such a deployment. He also commented on Poland's plans to transfer additional MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.
