ASRock TempGuard failed to prevent GPU power connector from burning again

ASRock's TempGuard technology was designed to definitively solve the melting power connector problem in high-end graphics cards, but a new report reveals the protection has again failed to prevent a costly hardware failure. A power connector was damaged despite the safeguard being present. The melting connector issue primarily affects high-power GPUs such as NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 40 and 50 series cards.
