Cerebellum-inspired memtransistor detects heart arrhythmia with 98% accuracy
Researchers at Northwestern University have built a memtransistor inspired by the human cerebellum that reacts to anomalies almost instantaneously. In tests, the device detected irregular heart rhythms with over 98% accuracy while consuming far fewer resources than conventional AI systems. The results surprised the researchers themselves.
