Bartoszyce hospital, 90M PLN in debt, merges wards and pays doctors over 100,000 PLN a month

A hospital in Bartoszyce, carrying debts exceeding 90 million zlotys, plans to merge three key wards due to severe staff shortages. To retain specialists, the facility is paying some doctors more than 100,000 zlotys per month. The restructuring is intended to help maintain continuity of medical services.
