FIFA's Infantino Considers Expanding 2030 World Cup to 64 Teams

FIFA president Gianni Infantino said it is under consideration to expand the 2030 World Cup to 64 teams, up from the 48-team format being used for the first time at the current tournament. Infantino made the remarks during the ongoing 48-team World Cup. No formal decision has been announced.
