LGBTQ+ cruise ship Scarlet Lady denied entry at Turkish and Egyptian ports

LGBTQ+ passengers aboard the chartered cruise ship Scarlet Lady were denied entry at Turkish ports in Kusadasi and Istanbul, with authorities refusing to allow the vessel to dock. Egypt subsequently also refused to let the ship enter its waters. One passenger described the situation as "disgusting and disappointing".
