Poland's School-Leaving Exam to Be Reformed: Clearer Results, AI-Proof Testing
Maciej Jakubowski, director of Poland's Educational Research Institute, says the Polish matura exam needs reform because its results are currently hard to interpret. He warns against scrapping the exam altogether, arguing graduates without it would be "completely defenceless against technology." Any reform must also address the challenge posed by AI, given that ChatGPT can solve a full matura paper in seconds.
