Apple Spent Billions on Car Project to Improve Its Own Computers

Apple's abandoned car project, which consumed billions of dollars over more than a decade, ended up benefiting the Mac lineup. Technologies developed for the electric vehicle programme were reportedly repurposed to improve Apple's computers. Apple officially cancelled the car project in 2024 after years of development.
