Millions evacuated in China as severe floods swamp villages and sweep away cars

Severe flooding has struck parts of China, forcing millions of people to evacuate. Villages have been left stranded, cars swept away and roads submerged under more than two metres of water. Rural communities remain trapped and cut off from assistance.
