Polish courts deny legal representatives fees even after winning cases
Polish administrative courts have adopted a routine practice of denying professional legal representatives their fees for legal representation, even when they win cases for their clients. Refusing to reimburse travel costs is merely the milder form of this phenomenon. Commentator Bartosz Bacia argues this violates the basic principle that a worker deserves their pay.
