LOT's jet fuel costs to rise by 1.3 billion PLN to 3.6 billion in 2026

Polish airline LOT will spend approximately 3.6 billion PLN on jet fuel in 2026, up from the originally planned 2.3 billion PLN — a rise of 1.3 billion PLN. The Ministry of Infrastructure confirmed the figures in response to a parliamentary question. The main challenge is not fuel availability but its elevated price on both domestic and global markets.
