European defence AI startup Helsing raises $1.8 billion at $18 billion valuation

European defence AI company Helsing, a rival to Anduril, raised $1.8 billion in a funding round at an $18 billion valuation. The company said investor demand significantly exceeded the available allocation. Helsing specialises in AI-powered defence systems and is seen as Europe's answer to US defence tech firms.
