Polish equality minister slams clergy's anti-IVF sermons as contradicting Christianity
Bishop Wiesław Szlachetka criticised IVF during a sermon at Jasna Góra and encouraged the use of NaProTechnology, while Father Tadeusz Rydzyk claimed "IVF means killing many children so one can be born." Poland's government equality commissioner Katarzyna Kotula responded on TVN24, calling these statements "in absolute contradiction with everything that forms the foundation of Christianity." She expressed hope that someone in the Catholic Church "will come to their senses."
