Japan advances stablecoin payments with Lawson trial and Netstars launch

Japanese convenience store chain Lawson will pilot yen stablecoin payments in Tokyo. Simultaneously, fintech company Netstars is launching a merchant payment service supporting USDC, USDT and JPYC.
