Oil prices jump above $79 as US strikes Iran again

Brent crude rose above $79 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate edged toward $75 after US forces carried out another wave of strikes against Iran. The two sides are disputing whether the Strait of Hormuz remains open to shipping. Uncertainty over regional oil supply is driving the price surge on global markets.
