Germany: Iraqi man sentenced to life in prison for enslaving Yazidi girls
A German court sentenced an Iraqi man to life in prison for holding two Yazidi girls captive for years, subjecting them to forced labour, abuse and torture before handing them over to other Islamic State members. His former partner was also accused in the case. The crimes were committed in the context of IS atrocities against the Yazidi community.
