Abandoned building on fire in Zakopane's Antałówka district, residents evacuated

On Sunday, 12 July 2025 at 23:11, emergency services were alerted to a fire in an abandoned building on Wierchowa Street in Zakopane. The blaze engulfed the former Panorama holiday resort on the Antałówka slope, known for its views of the Tatra Mountains. People present in the building had to be evacuated.
