Stanford develops AI agent that independently conducts biomedical research

Researchers at Stanford University have developed an AI agent capable of independently conducting biomedical research without constant human supervision. The system, dubbed a "digital biologist," can autonomously design experiments, analyse data and draw conclusions. Experts call it a genuine breakthrough and suggest AI could potentially be in the running for a Nobel Prize in the future.
