Germany funds 50,000 Shrike kamikaze drones with autonomous targeting for Ukraine

The German government has funded the purchase of 50,000 Shrike kamikaze drones manufactured by Ukrainian firm SkyFall, Reuters reported. The drones are equipped with software from US defence technology company Auterion, enabling autonomous tracking and engagement of moving targets during the final phase of flight. It is one of the largest drone procurement deals for Ukraine to date.
