Middle East venture funding drops 22% in H1, deal count plunges 41%
Data platform Magnitt reports that Middle East venture funding fell 22% in the first half of 2026, with the actual number of deals collapsing by 41%. CEO Philip Bahoshy noted that many deals were signed before US-Israeli attacks on Iran. He told Bloomberg that the real test for the regional startup ecosystem will come this summer.
