Audit Finds Polish Institute Misspent Nearly 40 Million Zlotys, Museum Never Built
An audit by Poland's National Revenue Administration found that the Institute of National Thought Heritage, led by Jan Żaryn, misspent nearly 40 million zlotys in public funds. Among the irregularities, money was allocated for a museum that was never built. The institute was a flagship cultural institution created during the PiS government's rule. The findings were first reported by Wirtualna Polska.
