Lewica wants buyers of subsidised council flats to repay discounts with no time limit
Lewica (the Left party) proposes that people reselling council flats bought with large public discounts must return the inflation-adjusted subsidy amount, with no time limit on the obligation. The Union of Polish Cities (ZMP) has signalled opposition, with spokesman Marek Wójcik stating it cannot accept an unlimited repayment obligation. The ZMP has not yet adopted a formal position on the proposal.
