Investigator: Gen. Papała's Murder Was a Contract Execution, Not a Random Crime

Sub-Inspector Krzysztof Janoszka, author of the book "Bezkarni" about the killing of Gen. Marek Papała, says the investigators' original theory — a contract killing — was closest to the truth. He points to physical evidence and the presence of three separate groups at the crime scene as proof of a deliberate, organised execution. Papała, Poland's former chief of police, was shot dead in 1998.
