Poorly Handled Workplace Disciplinary Cases Cost UK Economy £28.5bn a Year
The UK Faculty of Public Health (FPH) warns that poorly executed workplace disciplinary investigations cost the British economy £28.5 billion a year. Public health doctors say such proceedings leave workers burnt out and damage not only those directly involved but also their colleagues and employing organisations. The FPH report calls for badly handled disciplinary hearings to be treated as a threat to public health.
