Among the most inventive John Wick clones to emerge after the film’s success in 2014 is one headlined by David Harbour . The movie in question emerged as a sleeper hit and spawned a sequel that’s lined up for release later this year. Both the original and the upcoming sequel were produced by David Leitch , who co-directed the first John Wick movie along with Chad Stahelski . While Stahelski has remained with the John Wick franchise , taking it to culture-defining levels, Leitch charted his own path and directed massive hits such as Deadpool 2 , Hobbs & Shaw , and the action movies Bullet Train and The Fall Guy .

Last month at the PC Gaming Show we got to bring you a behind-the-scenes look at Total War: Warhammer 40,000 including glimpses of a battle between the Astra Militarum and orks. The video above, revealed at BiliBili World, is a more detailed look at the same battle in the Armageddon Theatre campaign, and looks sick as hell.

Though I'm not convinced my PC will be able to run it. Seeing the framerate drop when the explosions go off and limbs start flying through the air has me looking at my wallet in concern.

While the spectacle looks neat, once again the part I'm most interested in is the cover system. A couple of minutes into that video, you can see the player send infantry into barricades and it looks like they dynamically split into smaller squads to suit the cover available, and to take advantage of cover provided on the upper storey of a ruined building.

Then the ogryns come along and stomp through a bunch of it. Like the sentinel walkers in an earlier part of the footage, the hefty lads trash barricades they pass through while the regular infantry are animated vaulting over them. Looks like we'll have to be careful to maneuver around any protection we want to preserve for the sake of keeping the little guys alive.

Though maybe that's not in character. As the narrator says watching a barrage rain destruction on one and all, "These men did their duty." The average Imperial Guardsmen has an estimated life expectancy of 15 hours in combat, and once you've done your duty tying down enemies with jump-packs long enough for the artillery to load, well, both you and your cover are expendable.

Ford’s Start Inhibit remotely blocks the engine from starting.

Drivers must enter an app-generated code on the infotainment screen.

The service costs $7.99 monthly in the US or CA$9.99 in Canada.

Ford just made its newest vehicles harder to steal. Thefts remain high across the United States and in plenty of other countries, and Ford acknowledges it’s locked in a race against criminals who keep finding ways around the security built into modern cars.

The company calls its new feature as ‘Start Inhibit.’ It works much like the two-factor authentication process you may be used to access sensitive services, like your email or online banking, and is being added into the FordPass app and new Ford models. Anyone who has fumbled through a login code will recognize how it works.

Vehicles with the FordPass app synced to them receive an alert every time their car is accessed, started, moved, or factory reset. If an owner receives an alert, but knows it wasn’t caused by them, they can remotely engage the Start Inhibit function. This will prevent the vehicle from starting until the driver enters a code into the infotainment system generated by the owner’s app. If a vehicle is stolen, subscribers can also ask Ford to track it and provide its location directly to law enforcement.

The law-enforcement angle runs deeper than a location ping. According to CBS News, once an owner reports a theft and files a police report, Ford’s call center works with officers to trigger Start Inhibit, kill the engine, and mark where the vehicle stopped. Detroit police told the AP they aim to recover flagged trucks within the hour, since a fast recovery usually means an undamaged one.

There’s a limit, though. Start Inhibit won’t cut power to a moving car. It only arms once the vehicle has stopped and shut off, blocking the next start rather than killing the engine mid-drive.

Ford recently showcased the system to members of the press, including CTV News . It says the system will help combat thieves who use devices purchased online to clone keys, an ongoing issue for vehicles with keyless access.

Free For The First Year

The ‘Start Inhibit’ function has actually been around for more than a year, but hasn’t received much press, which is probably a good thing, as it hasn’t given thieves the opportunity to try and develop a system to circumvent Ford’s safety measures. Currently, it’s available on select 2024 and newer F-150 and Super Duty models, as well as the 2026 Expedition , Bronco Sport, and Mustang Mach-E .

The feature is available through Ford’s optional Security Package, which includes a one-year free subscription for owners of the vehicles listed above. Once that runs out, the bill comes to $7.99 per month in the USA, or CA$9.99 in Canada. Nothing says peace of mind quite like paying a monthly fee to keep the car you already bought.

NCIS put the spotlight on Agents Parker ( Gary Cole ) and McGee ( Sean Murray ) back in Season 22 as they tackled their own individual storylines that led to major outcomes for the series. Even though these two took up the bulk of the runtime and, subsequently, our attention, they weren't necessarily responsible for the most memorable moments on the show. In this case, that distinction actually belongs to Agents Torres ( Wilmer Valderrama ) and Knight ( Katrina Law ). At this point, these two have bounced off each other's energy for a couple of seasons, creating a heartwarming friendship that is always a pleasure to watch. But it was in Season 22 that the duo proved that they're the best pairing on the flagship show , not only because of their endless capacity for wry comedic relief, but also due to how solid their bond has become. Although that relationship might evolve into something more romantic, at its core, this duo has always been the best even when they were purely platonic.
