Germany funds 50,000 Shrike kamikaze drones for Ukraine in €90m deal
Germany has financed the purchase of 50,000 Shrike kamikaze drones for Ukraine, manufactured by Ukrainian firm SkyFall, Reuters reported. The contract is worth approximately €90 million and ranks among the largest drone orders Western countries have placed for Kyiv. The drones use software from US defence-tech company Auterion, allowing them to autonomously track and strike moving targets in the final phase of flight.
