Mali: 30 soldiers killed as army retakes Anefis after nearly a week of fighting

The Malian army has retaken the key town of Anefis after nearly a week of fighting, army chief General Jean Elysée Dao announced. Thirty soldiers were killed in the operation and 60 others were wounded. Anefis is a strategically important location in a region long affected by armed conflict.
