OpenAI merges ChatGPT, Work and Codex into one app – the result is confusing

OpenAI has merged its chat, Work area and Codex into a single desktop application. While no features have been removed, the way they have been renamed and reorganised within the interface has drawn sharp criticism. The overhaul is seen as well-intentioned but poorly executed, making navigation significantly worse than before.
