Israeli forces carried out fresh strikes on Gaza, killing five Palestinians in the latest attacks. Since a US-brokered ceasefire in October, Israeli military operations have killed at least 1,098 Palestinians in Gaza in total. The strikes continue despite the ceasefire agreement remaining nominally in place.
