EU to impose new sanctions on Russia over detention of Ukrainian civilians and POWs

EU foreign ministers are set to adopt new sanctions against Russia on Monday. The Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU said the measures are a direct response to Moscow's detention of Ukrainian civilians and prisoners of war. This marks another package of EU restrictive measures against Russia since the start of its invasion of Ukraine.
