Warsaw's Szwoleżerów Estate May Get Heritage Protection

The civic group Miasto Jest Nasze is pushing for Warsaw's 1970s Szwoleżerów housing estate to be listed in the regional heritage register. The estate faces pressure from planned changes under Warsaw's General Plan and the Warsaw 2040+ Strategy, which could allow intensive new development. Heritage listing would give the estate legal protection against overdevelopment.
