Jon Bernthal stars in both Spider-Man and Nolan's Odyssey this summer

A trio of Hollywood stars is about to appear in the two biggest movies of the summer. Real-life married couple Tom Holland and Zendaya will reprise their roles as Peter Parker and MJ in Spider-Man: Brand New Day , which is scheduled for release on July 31 . They will also both star in Christopher Nolan 's ambitious historical epic The Odyssey , which is already earning plenty of high praise from first reactions earlier this week . Joining Holland and Zendaya in both The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Jon Bernthal , who is set to make his MCU feature film debut as Frank Castle, as well as portray King Menelaus of Sparta.
