Archaeologists uncover 1943 synagogue walls at Warsaw's Okopowa cemetery

Archaeologists working at the Jewish cemetery on Okopowa Street in Warsaw are uncovering the remains of a synagogue and funeral houses demolished by the Germans in 1943. The layout of the buildings' interiors is becoming increasingly clear as the dig progresses. Small everyday objects are also being found among the layers of soil.
