TV licence fee: Polish retirees exempt only from age 75

In Poland, retirement alone does not exempt a person from paying the TV and radio licence fee (abonament RTV). The exemption applies only to those aged 75 or over, and they must formally apply at a Polish Post Office branch to activate it.
