Polish coast seen as 'serious competitor' by German tourism industry

Poland welcomed over 21 million foreign tourists in 2025, with forecasts pointing to around 23 million next year. Germans are the largest group of visitors, flocking in particular to the Polish Baltic coast. The German tourism industry has labelled the region a "serious competitor" to its own seaside resorts.
