Over 6,600 trees in Warmia-Masuria region earmarked for felling

Marek Książek, writing in "Tygodnik Przegląd", warns that over 1,500 trees in Warmia alone and 6,600 across the wider region are scheduled for felling. The historic roadside tree avenues of Warmia, a characteristic feature of the regional landscape and ecosystem, are under threat.
