Ukraine Sets Syzran Refinery Ablaze and Strikes Shadow Fleet Tankers

Ukrainian defence forces launched a night-time attack on the Syzran refinery, one of Russia's largest, causing a fire at the facility. Ten tankers from Russia's shadow fleet were simultaneously targeted in the Sea of Azov — vessels used to circumvent Western oil sanctions. The operation was aimed at degrading Russia's oil industry and disrupting military logistics.
