US Strikes 140 Targets in Iran; Revolutionary Guard Retaliates

US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced overnight strikes on 140 Iranian military targets, carried out in retaliation for Iran setting a container ship ablaze in the Strait of Hormuz. The Revolutionary Guard subsequently announced retaliatory strikes against US bases and military units. The UAE and Qatar defence ministries confirmed they intercepted incoming Iranian fire aimed at their territory.
