Volhynia massacre anniversary: Prof. Motyka on Polish-Ukrainian tensions
On the anniversary of the Volhynia massacre, historian Prof. Grzegorz Motyka told TVN24 that the best path for Poland and Ukraine would be to pause and begin talks on de-escalating their strained relations. He stressed that Ukrainian UPA nationalists treated Poles as mortal enemies. Tensions between the two countries over commemorating the victims remain unresolved.
