Budanov quietly building political position ahead of Ukraine's post-war elections

Although Ukraine's presidential election is still far off, the post-war power struggle is already under way. According to Ukrainian MPs and sources in Kyiv, military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov is among the politicians most consistently building their political standing. Officially there is no campaign, but in practice it began many months ago.
