Lidl data breach exposes customers' names, emails and phone numbers
Lidl has disclosed a security incident affecting customers of its online store, in which unauthorised individuals gained access to a file containing names, email addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth. The retailer says passwords, delivery addresses and payment data were not compromised. Lidl is urging customers to be vigilant about suspicious messages, as the stolen data could be used for phishing attacks.
