Noskova says sight of the Wimbledon trophy helped her reset and win the title
Linda Noskova revealed after her Wimbledon victory that seeing the trophy by Centre Court helped her reset mentally after squandering five match points in the second set. The 21-year-old Czech beat Karolina Muchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 to win her first Grand Slam. A bathroom break between the second and third sets proved a turning point in her mental recovery.
