Linda Noskova wins Wimbledon title, beating Muchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-3

Czech 21-year-old Linda Noskova claimed her first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, defeating compatriot Karolina Muchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-3. Noskova led 6-2, 5-2 and held five match points before Muchova levelled, but a bathroom break helped Noskova regroup and win the deciding set. She becomes the sixth Czech woman to lift the Wimbledon trophy in the Open era.
