Guggenheim Museum in NYC Tests Positive for Legionnaires' Bacteria
New York City's Guggenheim Museum was among 31 Manhattan buildings on the Upper East Side found to test positive for Legionella bacteria, which causes a serious form of pneumonia. The city health department ordered all affected buildings to clean and disinfect their cooling towers amid a new outbreak. The Guggenheim confirmed it has already completed remediation.
