Mel Gibson's WWII Epic "Hacksaw Ridge" Leaving Paramount+
Mel Gibson's celebrated WWII film is being removed from Paramount+ after roughly ten years on the platform. Gibson, director of historical epics like Braveheart and Apocalypto, is set to return to filmmaking in 2027 with The Resurrection of the Christ, a two-part sequel to The Passion of the Christ. His return to mainstream Hollywood a decade ago was widely praised by the industry despite the personal controversies that had sidelined him.
